The Healing Process
I believe you are unique, requiring an equally unique and personalized approach to address your concerns. We begin with an in-depth and holistic assessment to establish a broad view of your current wellness and identify areas where you may be struggling. From here, we work together to establish goals to address your concerns, designed to be personalized and attainable. This sets the foundation for your healing journey.
Sessions may include identifying values, processing past experiences, exploring bodily sensation, thought and behavioral patterns, assessing and developing coping strategies, building skills to regulate the nervous system, psychoeducation, expression, and more. Techniques and methods that I bring into session include EMDR trauma therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, self-compassion, solution-focused brief therapy techniques, narrative therapy exercises, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) skills training, expressive arts, psychodrama, nature-based experiences, and other innovative strategies that may be helpful to your healing.
I believe that you have the potential to know yourself deeply and live in a way that honors that. It is an honor to walk with you on this path of self-discovery, bearing witness to you reaching your goals and falling in love with yourself.
